Hobby Update - The 12 Wolf Lord Challenge Bran and Erik

Hey Everyone,

So almost 1 year ago, I put forward a challenge to myself to try to have all of the 12 Wolf Lords for the Space Wolves.  I had ideas that I put forward, but because of life, school, and other factors not related to 40k, I fell behind.  I am proud to present 3 models to represent 2 of the Wolf Lords I needed to Create.  They are Bran Redmaw and Erik Morkai.  These are works in progress and I still need to paint some of them, but I figured a quick update would be good.

Just a reminder, GW has models for Logan Grimnar, Ragnar Blackmane, Harald Deathwolf, and Krom Dragongaze.  They did show a Potential model for Bran Redmaw, but it was never sold.

Lictor Pose Conversion #1 - FTGTRon

Hey everyone!

Ron here with a lictor pose conversion.  I'm running lictorshame like all the other bandwagoneers these days, and I don't want to settle for 6 with the same identical "I'm hiding in plain sight" stance.   So this is the beginning of my journey to create 6 individualized lictors in all sorts of dynamic, stalkerish poses (lictors in the fluff are big time creepers hiding in the bushes and whatnot, not standing straight up in the open with jazz hands).  I hope these posts inspire some crazy lictor conversions of your own!

Malanthrope with Putty Creep and Uhu Saliva

Hey guys,

Ron here with a December Hobby budget challenge update.  I have managed to knock out the Malanthrope ahead of schedule (a good thing since the holidays can be quite busy).  Here are a few shots:

Flying Hive Tyrant with Forgeworld Devourers and Conversions (Finished)

Ron here with a couple shots of the finished flying hive tyrant.  This guy has been a bit of an off and on project, but with NOVA coming up, I needed him finished!  The tail was bent with a heat gun, and the clump on the end of the tail was removed (with some minor putty work to reconstruct it).  You can see the tail bending process here: Flyrant Tail Bending.  I modeled a thorax swarm biomorph (representing electroshock grubs) in to the chest armor, which you can check out here: Thorax Biomorph Conversion.  Without further explanation, here are some shots of the finished model:
