Now that Assassins are no longer in the Grey Knights Codex (that review coming soon), they instead are included in their own dataslate, opening them up to be taken in just about any army.

White Dwarf #15 Review - Dark Eldar Dataslate and 7th Edition

With rumors swirling and leaked images, I decided to pick up the newest White Dwarf and see the various tidbits in context. I also wanted to check out the teased Dark Eldar dataslate.

Battle for Blacksburg - Round 3 - Tyranids vs. Tyranids

Following my Round 2 Loss to Eldar, I was matched up against Ron in the mirror match of all mirror matches. Ron was undefeated and had just missed out on the championship game. Just a forewarning, after a full day of gaming, I didn't take nearly enough pictures, or as close a track as I should have, so this bat rep might be a bit thinner than most.

List Building: Tournament 1,850 Point Tyranids

As we mentioned last week, we'll be attending a local 1,850 point tournament at the end of the month. I'm pretty much sticking with my guns and running Nids (though I've had my doubts). Ideally, I'd like to get it all painted up, but that might be a tall order.

Tyranid Vanguard - Rising Leviathan First Look

As a blog with three Tyranid addicts, we of course had to pick up the first of the three dataslates to supplement the army. As Black Library released earlier in the week, in addition to the fluff (which I haven't read yet, but I'm looking forward to), there are five formations to be added to the army.
