Hey Everyone,
BeeCee here after a long hiatus. I think the last time we talked I was just starting my DarkStar prep so I wanted to first take a moment to apologize that I haven't updated in a long time.

Facing the Grey Tide Podcast: Episode 21: Dark Star Missions and Eldar Rules
What's up everyone? This week on the Podcast, Evan, Bryan, and Chandler run down the missions for the upcoming Dark Star GT held in Minneapolis, Mn the weekend of May 2-3, 2015. The Missions are interesting with a bit of a flair that is different from the original book missions. We talk about the missions and how Bryan's "List" will play into the different missions. P.S. Thanks Sean! We talk about the last couple of weeks, shout out to some of the people from the blog, and then beat our heads trying to imagine a world where D weapons and Scatter lasers are basically given away.
Join us as we run down a Dream......and some missions.

Dark Star Part II- Games 3-5
Hey everyone,
BeeCee here once again to finish my recaps from my games at DarkStar. Where we last left our fearless hero (that's me if you didn't read the last update), I was 1-1 coming off a Mike Tyson-esqe beating at the hands of quadruple riptide Tau.
Next up I was facing Wes Szmaglik's beautifully painted multi-wing Dark Angels (Wes would take 3rd best painted army). The mission was called "The slaughter will never end" and it had a crazy special rule that any non-vehicle/non-hq unit that was destroyed would re-enter play at the end of your movement phase of the following turn. You could score up to three extra victory points by destroying a unit twice.

DarkStar Recap Part I - Games One and Two
Hey everyone,
BeeCee here. I just got back from Darkstar and I had an absolute blast. As some of you may know, this was my first tournament of 40k ever and also the first time I've ever had a fully painted army on the table!
So going in to the tourney I had two main goals. The first one was to win at least one game and secondly to meet some of the cool people that exist within this great 40k community. I also had a stretch goal (this kind of sounds like a kickstarter pitch here...) that if I did halfway decent maybe I could walk away with best Tyranid player. My thought was, with all the hate directed at the bugs right now and the fact that most of the hardcore competitive players are not playing bugs, that maybe with a decent showing I could steal it.

| Here is my unreltenting tide of Tyranids. Well ok, they relent some when you shoot at the gaunts with... well... anything. |

The Best New Year's Resolutions are the Ones You Have Already Procrastinated...
Greetings everyone, BeeCee here.
So as I was in Google Hangouts with the rest of the FTGT crew we started talking about resolutions and each of us doing a 2014 post. Immediately I got excited about all the things I was going to accomplish in the hobby this year, the fact that I was going to post to the blog more often, and become a better play/hobbyist.

Two weeks of insanity, Pre-codex Tyranid prep.
BeeCee here again.
I am making a few educated guesses based on the rumors/leaked photos regarding the Tyranid release as I prepare my list for the Dark Star GT in March 2014.

DarkStar Preparations Continue, Dealing with a New Codex. A quick update from BeeCee.
BeeCee here continuing my journey towards my first Warhammer 40k tournament. As you probably know if you are an active 40k player, the Tyranids are coming in January. They have quite a few new shiny kits and the rumors are running wild as to which units are getting a buff, which ones are getting nerfed to the ground etc...

Darkstar GT preparations or How I came to love painting for hours every night.
BeeCee here. I am playing in my first ever 40K GT in March 2014 called the Darkstar GT. In a fit of utter insanity I decided to bring my Tyranids.
The Tyranids present a unique challenge as they are getting a new codex anywhere from three weeks from now to a little over a month from now. I am hoping you will come along with me as I embark on this first tournament journey.

Picking up Hitchhikers, Someone New Joins the Fold!
Hello everyone, I am Bryan, aka BeeCee, the newest contributor to FTGT. I wanted to take a minute to introduce myself as I join in the battle against the Grey Tide. I started playing Warhammer 40k WAY back in 2nd edition, long before the force org chart and special characters ruled the game.
