I'm almost a month late, but this April marks the fourth birthday of the blog. While we've been pretty inactive of late, we haven't completely folded up shop yet, and with the impending release of 8th Edition we have the mental wheels turning and typing fingers stretching. We haven't had a recent podcast because of technical difficulties - Chandler's computer died and as the keeper of the podcast, we haven't had a chance to record again. Despite being quiet as far as blogging and podcasting goes, we're still gaming, painting, and so on.

FTGT Turns 3!
A little belated, but the blog has just recently turned three years old. Despite the slowdown in content (and podcasts) over the last 6 months or so, we're still working on generating content and keeping involved with the readers we've gathered over the last three years. It is thanks to you that we keep coming back to this, even as life gets full and busy at times.

FTGT Turns 2!
As the title indicates, today the blog officially turns two! As I said last year, I am amazed with how far the blog has come and I couldn't have done it alone. So thanks to Chandler, Ron, and Bryan for helping out with posts and the podcast. Also thanks to all the guests we've had on the podcast in the first 20 episodes, including Sean Nayden on our most recent podcast. Last but definitely not least, thank you to all the readers, contributors, and commenters. It's always great to hear back on what we're putting out and seeing what you guys are doing as well.

FTGT Turns 1!
The title of the post says it all. Today, the blog is officially a year old. We've come a long way in that year. My first post cataloged some hopes and aspirations for the blog, as well as the tally of my collection that inspired the name of the blog. I am amazed at how far FTGT has come - I honestly never expected anyone I don't know personally to read it. For that I have to thank each of you who read the blog, whether just on occasion or regularly.
The contributors have grown from just myself to include three other writers who have helped me keep the blog alive and give additional perspectives. The blog started out Tyranid heavy and has stayed that way, though I'd like to think we're branching out a little.

The Best New Year's Resolutions are the Ones You Have Already Procrastinated...
Greetings everyone, BeeCee here.
So as I was in Google Hangouts with the rest of the FTGT crew we started talking about resolutions and each of us doing a 2014 post. Immediately I got excited about all the things I was going to accomplish in the hobby this year, the fact that I was going to post to the blog more often, and become a better play/hobbyist.

Evan's 2014 FTGT Resolutions
Hi All. I thought I would put together a 2014 Resolutions list for my goals as a hobbyist in the next year. I've also suggested the other guys do it so I don't look quite so egocentric.
The goal of setting up resolutions like this is to create a set of goals I can track myself on throughout the year. This goes back to what I did with my NOVA prep posts last summer. Hopefully some of you will like the method and adopt something similar. Or maybe you are awesome and already achieve your hobby goals without need for lists. But I like them.
