As is tradition at this point, I wanted to do a quick run through of my collections, depressing as it can be at times.

I've managed to sell one fantasy army a year, so it seems like it might finally be time for the Wood Elves to hit the road. Meanwhile, I massively expanded my Malifaux collection, and added yet another game to my collection, Armada. Now, a quick overview of how I'm doing facing my personal grey tide:

I added the change in percentages in parenthasis to see how I'm doing. The Dark Eldar line is a little deceptive, as I've parted with just about all of the unpainted minis I own (and most of the collection overall). Similarly, Space Marines are slightly deceptive as most of the minis I added were pre-painted to some degree (though I would, at some point, like to go through and add some additional touches).
The negative change in percent painted for Orks and Tyranids means I added to the armies without keeping the same pace in painting. For Tyranids, this wasn't too bad as I also didn't add too much to the collection, comparatively. Generally thought, I made positive progress for most collections, and hope to continue that trend, though, with me rolling full time on my commission studio, I'll have fairly limited time to work on my own collections; that said, I've managed to complete 3 Gremlin models over the last two weekends, representing 5% of the faction collection.
Som'er Teeth Jones, my second finished Gremlin Master, third overall |
We'd also love to meet anyone at the events we go to, so keep an eye out and give us a shout out if you see us at events. I'm attending my local big-event, NRVCon, in a couple weeks, so if you happen to be in the area, come on by. Chandler, Ron, and I are all planning on attending NOVA at the end of the summer, and Chandler and I also have penciled in Warzone Atlanta in November. Finally, Bryan is shooting to attend Renegade Open in December. If you're planning on going to any of those events, come say hi, and feel free to hit us up beforehand.
Again, thanks to everyone who has stuck with us for the last three years, and I hope you continue checking it out and say hey sometime.
